Plymouth Argyle can go top of League One if they beat Burton Albion at Home Park on Saturday. The third-placed side, on 13 points from seven games, are on a four-match winning run and host a Burton team sitting 12th in the table.
Head coach Tom Cleverley is eager to maintain momentum. "We want to play. We're desperate to play," Cleverley said. "We're in good rhythm, we're in good confidence. We don't want a break."
Injury concerns for Argyle
That desire will be tested by the absence of four players. Owen Oseni, who had an ankle scan, and Michael Baidoo are among those sidelined with muscle and contact injuries.
Burton's reshaped squad
Burton Albion, under Gary Bowyer, have drawn three of their last four matches. They have reshaped their squad after losing players like Jake Beesley, adding defenders Curtis Tilt and Joe Lewis alongside loan attackers Raphael Borges Rodrigues and Mark O’Mahony. Cleverley warned his side of the threat. "They'll be a threat," he said. "They look like a team that's competing in every duel."
The match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday and will be broadcast live on Argyle TV from 2pm, with international supporters able to watch via subscription.
